Tamil Jersey School was started in the year of 2016-2017 by a group of volunteers. To make our next generation kids to read, write and learn our Tamil language and culture.

Tamil jersey school is affiliated with “American Tamil Academy” from the year we started.
Initially it was started as free to encourage the kids and with help of donors we got free places to conduct the classes. In 2017-2018 we got more response from volunteers and the count got drastically changed to 100+ and the organization was registered for 501©️. The school is entirely driven by the volunteers.
Classes are usually conducted on Saturday and times vary every year.

In addition to Tamil classes we were concentrating on extra curriculum activities Abacus and Chess.
Every year cultural activity is also performed such as fancy dress, dance, drama, singing, and speech and essay completion.
